Portfolio Manager - Wealth Management

New Clients sourced, growth in size of portfolio from existing and new clients, CSAT scores, retention percentage.

Job Purpose

Cultivate US based client relationships, coordinate the sales process, manage ongoing client engagement and ensuring exceptional client services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute sales strategy including identifying opportunities, lead cultivation, follow up and conversion to drive revenue growth. Collaborate with the teams to support back-end research preparing client presentations to develop a customized value proposition.
  • Manage client relationships as a primary contact including client engagement, act as a consultant on market trends, offering proactive tailored solutions, managing requests in a timely manner leading to a high level of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Account Management to include overseeing client accounts, ensuring accuracy and to manage their portfolio.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams of investments, insurance and financial planning to optimize client wealth.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance in all client dealings by demonstrating a high level of understanding of US laws, insurance and taxation relevant to that client.
  • Own and control direct costs pertaining to the sales delivery, primarily human resource related.
  • Monitor delivery of KPIs of yourself and your teams.
  • Ability to work US hours on need basis to coordinate and collaborate with clients and US teams on their time zones.
Education, Experience & Competencies
Education Critical Competencies
Required: MBA in Finance or a CFA from the US

Technical

  • Knowledge of US tax laws, compliance and reporting requirements
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Global perspective and overseas business building
  • Proficiency in accounting and CRM software and related tools

Experience
7+ years of experience in client management, insurance and wealth management, with some experience in the US market, currently working as an RIA (Registered Investment ADVISOR) or with a Wealth Management Firm like a family office.
